The Sun in Hydrogen Alpha,
2006
June
This has been a difficult month. When the Sun has
shone, it has been too windy or hazy for imaging.

June 2006
The
only image I managed during the whole of June.
I was
really pleased to capture the structure at 7 o'clock which shows both
emission and absoption details.
It showed up as a filament and a prom in both the auto exposure
images for disc detail and in the 2 stop overexposed images to capture
the proms.
The prom at 10 o'clock was just visible and no more at the eyepiece so
it was great to see it in the image.
